We aim to develop Christ-like character and academic excellence in preparing each student to live for God’s glory.
Curriculum
VCA utilizes the ACE Ministries, Inc. educational program, incorporating an individualized, mastery-based curriculum rooted in a biblical worldview for grades 2-12.
Our kindergarten and first grade programs use a variety of curricula with a strong phonics approach in a traditional classroom setting, while also emphasizing a biblical worldview.
Students progress upon mastering concepts, achieving a score of 80% or above on each test.

Dual Enrollment
VCA students can pursue an accredited diploma through ACE’s Dual Enrollment Program, distinct from state accreditation. Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA), ACE’s Distance Learning Program, holds accreditation from Accreditation International (AI).
VCA students can opt to enroll in LCA, earning credits applicable to an LCA diploma. This involves an annual fee and a graduation fee payable to LCA.
Regional Student Convention
These conventions, designed for youth aged 13 and above, offer a stimulating and enjoyable setting where students can cultivate their God-given gifts and talents for a vibrant ministry.
Participants can choose from a diverse array of over 140 events across five dynamic categories: Music, Speech/Drama, Athletics, Arts, and Academics.
Junior Student Convention
The ACE Lower Great Lakes Junior Convention is a single-day affair held in Beech Grove, Indiana, every October.
This event provides a friendly competition platform for students aged 9-12 from nearby ACE schools.
Participants engage in various events covering academics, art, photography, sewing, music, speech, athletics, and baking.
